It is starting on 480x272 but the machine must be a powerful one. Seems it is not important the name SDMMC (on my mio the name is Storage Card - and the script reads the exact card of the machine into a variable). Before starting rungarmin.exe on most machines it must be started explorer.exe (must be resident in RAM). If you do not have the explorer.exe you can run first Total Commander (but only Total Commander CE V2.52 Beta2). Rungarmin.exe won't launch either from the launcher or from wince desktop 3. It only runs from executing quece.exe in wince desktop, with garbled display on 480x272, and crashed several seconds afterwards with no error message 4. Sat signals acquired automatically, port 1 baud 4800 Update: the apps wasn't crashed at all, it just that with the garbled display, I assumed it were crashed, but it wasn't Seems like, it just a problem with recognizing the map I put in the system folder offline Joined: Tue May 25, 2010 1:41 am Posts: 148 Has thanked: time Been thanked: times. This is my report:) Ofcoz this ver specified is for HD version, for user NON HD you may run the program but the icon appearance will not fit on your NON HD screen 1. SIRF IV/128MB/run fm SDMMC (free space 200mb) 2. Just copy downloadable to root folder 3.
Enter WINCe mode, run explorer, run sdmmc/garmin/quece.exe 4. It can work, map loaded (in MAP SETS can show map we use) 5. But acquiring gps signal is failed. Maybe software and my GPS hardware didn't macth on port/baud settingan.
As I know,MHO, GMXT may need extra setting/port splitter to run 5.And bcoz run from Explorer of WINCE than taskbar & windows bar is shown, can not full screen Okay that all so hope this vesion can have non-hd and workable port/baud solution Thanks offline Joined: Thu Jul 07, 2011 4:01 am Posts: 23 Has thanked: 0 time Been thanked: 0 time. 4nn4 wrote:This is my report Ofcoz this ver specified is for HD version, for user NON HD you may run the program but the icon appearance will not fit on your NON HD screen 1.

Dec 31st, 2006 2:55 amok, I figured out how to play divx/mp3 on this unit. Run the gonav software, go to the menu screen and click on the 'i' icon.
It will take you to the system information page, click on the 'Exit' button. It will close the software and display the empty desktop. Install activesync on your PC 3. Connect the unit to PC via USB cable 4.
Open activesync and click on the 'explore' button, then go into windows folder, create a short cut to explorer.exe and drag it to 'desktop' folder, you will see a shortcut appeared on the unit 5. Run the TCPMP setup program (dixv/mp3 player, tcpmp.corecodec.org), choose SDMMC as the destination, it will transfer a bunch of files to the unit. Then click the middle button of the D-Pad on the unit to select the destination folder.
Double click the shortcut to launch the explorer. Browse to SDMMC TCPMP folder, double click 'player' to play now I need to figure out a way to enter data. Is there a on-screen keyboard for winCE similiar to the Pocket PC's built-in SIP keyboard?. Dec 31st, 2006 10:48 amI'm used to TomTom and I have a legit copy so I have the benefits of using both. This is a Windows CE.net 4.2 device so it uses Pocket PC/Windows Mobile 2003 software.

Iguidance is fine as well. The only thing you need to remember on this device is that you have to put everything on the SD card and run it from there. Nothing is saved when you do a hard reset.
Shortcuts on the desktop aren't remembered, personalization of your windows is erased, etc. You can use the nscriptm to build a script to do this but you'll need to tinker with it. Corran wrote: Replying to myself but if you want to launch explorer: Download this file: AutoBoot File Extract both files in your Netropa IntelliNav folder and rename autoboot.exe to IntelliNav.exe (backup original IntelliNav.exe) and, after a reset, explorer will start at boot. I think you should also have the start menu available but it autohides by default. Jay Thanks for posting but that doesn't seem to work.
I copied all the files from the GoNav SD card to a 1 GB Kingston (minus the language folders other than english but created empty folders by the same name for the other languages), installed the two files in the compressed folder, renamed accordingly, however the unit just locks up till I do a reset and insert the orig GoNav SD. I had this issue until I reformatted my 2GB SD card and selected the FAT file system. (I believe FAT 32 is the default when formatting.) After formatting to FAT I was able to get it working. With FAT 32 the screen turns into a corrupted striped image of the last thing that you did before resetting the device and put the new card in. This device is actually pretty neat for $99. I was able to build a simple application using Visual Studio 2003 and deploy it to the device in about 5 minutes. (Elementary launcher to select between the two apps I want to launch at boot - TomTom and TCPMP) Jay.
